The short of it is: I’m a 21-year-old neuroatypical queer chick who had to quit my job in October because my depression and anxiety had gotten so bad that I spent a week in the hospital because I wanted to kill myself pretty much daily and had started cutting again for the first time in years. My mom got laid off one of her jobs earlier this year, and just recently we had to pay $750 just to keep our car running.

Things are tight. So tight that as of right now, neither mom nor I can afford our meds or food that will last us the rest of the month. My paychecks were what was keeping us fed. I quit because I knew I had enough savings to last until the new year, at least, but the repairs to the car pretty much ruined that.

So, I’m asking for help. I know things are tight all around right now, but if you find yourself with a buck or two to spare, clicking the “donate” button on my blog would basically be a Christmas miracle to me and my mom.
